Shri Kalyan Chakraborty is the Chairman of the Trusty Body of Samsad for next 6 years 2016-21.

An walking Encyclopedia on Samsad History, one of the very few living Founder member of Samsad.

1965 - The land has been purchased in Bhosale Nagar and the present house has been constructed.

1986 - The Durga Puja has been shifted to Congress Bhawan, in Shivaji Nagar area.

1989 - Samsad celebrated 50th Year of Durga Puja in Congress Bhawan. Mr DK Pal as President distributed bhog to more than 5000 children/poor people in a single day and raises more than Rs.5 lakhs from non-corporate donors.

2014 - Samsad celebrated 75 years of Greater Pune Sarbojonin Durga Puja under the able Leadership of Mr Bireswar Mitra,
