This is to draw your kind attention on the change of Library Day from this week end till Durga Puja 2016.

Library will be open on the day of the Durga Puja Meeting for ease of operations by the members supporting BSS library operations voluntarily. Mostly the meetings will be in the week ends either Saturday or Sunday.
For Saturday - Library will open at 8 PM.
or
For Sunday - Library will open at 6.30 PM.

We will go back to normal library days after Durga Puja.

We are happy to inform you that, we have received full set of "Dasyu Mohan" (26 volumes) written by Shri Shashadhar Dutta from the personal collection of Shri S K Sarkhel of Vishrantwadi, Pune. He was kind enough to donate these books to BSS library.
"Dasyu Mohan" needs no introduction to Bengali readers particularly those who are fond of detective stories. These books will be made available to readers and can be issued after 15 days in order to complete the standard library processes and formalities.
We convey our sincere thanks to Shri S K Sarkhel.

We also want to inform our Life member Dr Panchanan Mitra has donated more than 100 Books to our Library. Dr Mitra is shifting to Kolkata Permanently in the month of September 2016. We wish their happy stay in Kolkata.
